A Small-Batch Student Cohort
We believe that a child’s best work happens when the home and the studio are in perfect harmony, working together to support their unique journey.
Total Transparency: We replace "closed doors" with an active, open partnership. We work in harmony with your home, providing the clear communication and honest connection that traditional schools often lack.
The Safety to Succeed: To take intellectual risks, a child must feel seen, heard, and safe. We respect every family's voice, building the emotional security your child needs to excel.
A Professional Support System: We’ve built a studio that honors your time. With flexible access from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM and a welcoming environment for siblings, we provide a reliable partnership that matches the needs of the modern household.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
We don't have "classes." We have a single, mixed-age boutique cohort. This ensures your child is deeply known, mentored as an individual, and never lost in the crowd.
-
We respect your need to stay connected with your child. We don't ban phones; instead, we use Dock Mode. Phones stay in the student’s Personal Hub during work blocks to protect their focus. However, students may step to their Hub to call or text home at any time without asking permission.
-
We do not use detentions or referrals. Instead, we maintain a 'Low-Drama Zone.' Because our cohort is capped at 14 students, we actually know your child. We treat them as capable members of a shared workspace and focus on solving problems together rather than handing out arbitrary punishments.
-
Instead of asking who is to blame, we ask: What happened? Who was affected? What do we need to do to make things right? We use a tiered response:
Level 1—Redirection: A private, 1-on-1 talk to identify the issue and find a collaborative solution.
Level 2—Reflection: If a behavior continues, the student loses unstructured time to complete a written plan on how their actions impacted the group and how they will fix it.
Level 3—Sabbatical: For severe or repeated disruptions, a student takes a 2-day temporary leave for a home reset, followed by a parent meeting to build an Individualized Care Plan.
