Blue Horizon Studio: 2026 Summer Day Camp

$250.00

Date: June 22, 2026 to June 26, 2026
Time: 9:00 am -12:00 pm
Location: Champions Field Community Park 2100 Garden Farms Ave, Lathrop, CA 95330

During the camp, students will tackle a 5-Day Boat Progression engineering challenge. They will spend the week designing, building, and testing their own boat prototypes, applying real physics concepts to make daily improvements to their structures. It all culminates in a final float test during The Friday Family Showcase.

What to Bring

  • A Reusable Water Bottle: Staying hydrated during our outdoor builds is a must. We will have a water refill station available all day to keep everyone topped off.

  • Comfortable "Play" Clothes & Shoes: We will be cutting wood, working with clay, and splashing in water tubs. Wear clothes you don’t mind getting a little dusty or damp, and closed-toe shoes for running around the park.

  • A Hand Towel: Essential for drying off hands and arms after our daily Launch Lab time trials.

  • Sun Protection: A hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen. Our pavilion provides shade, but we will be out in the June sun during Decompression and Launch Labs.

  • An Extra Snack (Optional): We provide a daily snack during our Decompression break, but growing engineers are always welcome to bring their own favorites from home.
